Properly installing your window opener is critical to long‑term success. Please follow these steps carefully.
Check your window against these limits first:
- Sill height: no more than 2 in from the top of the window frame to the sill. If it's more, raise the whole device on a 1×4 / 2×4.
- Exposed sash: you need 14 mm of the lower sash exposed to attach the window mount.
- Window width: the device is just under 22 in end to end, so the window must be at least 44 in wide (aim for 46 in to be safe).
- Window weight: tested up to 40 lb. Heavy windows should be lubricated with dry silicone spray on the track first.
Installation takes only a few minutes of work, followed by a 24‑hour cure.

- Attach the window mount to the lower sash.
- Attach the sill mount to the window sill.
- Wait 24 hours for the adhesive to build strength before using the opener.
Both mounts use adhesive. If you ever need extra holding power you can add a screw into the sill, but in testing the adhesive alone has been sufficient.
- Power the device with a 12 V, 3 A+ supply (2.1 mm × 5.5 mm barrel plug).
- Follow Wi‑Fi Setup to get it on your network.
- Then dial in motion and safety settings in Motor & Stall Tuning.
Emergency removal: the entire device lifts straight off the mounts in a couple of seconds — no tools — if you ever need to remove it in a hurry.
