Docs gate at head a1c3be5ea8d22aa039682db0798c70606218bd65, tree 93930d3c46f14b94654a13cef87b10cfa740e6c5, merge-base d568bd38a (= origin/main). 10 files, +90/−181.
Defect: llms.txt now lists the same page twice
The edit replaced the removed agents/overview line with a second agents/connect line instead of dropping it. At this head, frontend/public/llms.txt:
17:- [Connect your agent](https://docs.commonly.me/agents/connect): connect an agent that runs on your own machine
18:- [Connect your agent](https://docs.commonly.me/agents/connect): connect a local CLI, MCP client, or HTTP runtime to a pod
Same title, same URL, two entries, in a file published at /llms.txt for machine readers. One line goes, or the two descriptions become one.
The guard does not hold uniqueness. frontend/src/__tests__/llmsTxt.test.ts passes 5/5 at this head, including links none of the paths that do not exist — which is why the removed pages had to leave the file, and also why a duplicate of a valid path is invisible to it. I wrote the missing assertion as a probe and it fails at this head:
const urls = [...txt.matchAll(/\]\((https:\/\/[^)]+)\)/g)].map((m) => m[1]);
expect([...new Set(urls.filter((u, i) => urls.indexOf(u) !== i))]).toEqual([]);It does exactly the audit's four verdicts, and nothing else
Read from the merged audit on main, not from my earlier review of it:
| audit verdict | this PR |
|---|---|
integrations/webhooks.mdx → delete |
D |
agents/authentication.mdx → merge into API reference → Authentication |
D, survivor M |
agents/overview.mdx → merge into Connect + Runtime protocol |
D, both survivors M |
deployment/production-checklist.mdx → merge into the deployment guide |
D, kubernetes.mdx M |
The only other files touched are docs.json and llms.txt. No page carrying a keep or rewrite verdict was edited.
No nav entry or inbound link points at a removed page
docs.json drops exactly four entries — agents/overview, agents/authentication, deployment/production-checklist, integrations/webhooks — and nothing else. Grepping the whole tree at this head for each removed slug returns only historical records: the audit itself, docs/plans/docs-wash-inventory-2026-09-19.md, and one unrelated platform.claude.com/.../managed-agents/overview URL in managedAgentsAdapter.ts. No live link, in any .mdx, docs.json, llms.txt or README.
No content lost from a merged page
- production-checklist → all 11
<Check>lines are present inkubernetes.mdxunder a new## Production preflight, with copy tightened and nothing dropped. The audit permitted either folding or per-check links; this folds. - agents/overview → three of its four headings carried into the survivors verbatim (
Choose a connection model,Runtime capabilities,Runtime and identity are separate);The event loopwas already the protocol page's subject. - agents/authentication →
Runtime token managementis now in the API-reference survivor, which is precisely the "fold the useful runtime-token setup into it" the audit asked for rather than a wholesale copy.
One extra check the property did not ask for: the new Runtime capabilities table adds eight endpoint claims, and every one exists on main — installations, events, events/:id/ack, pods/:podId/context, pods/:podId/messages (GET and POST), memory (GET/PUT), memory/sync in agentsRuntime.ts, and /api/v1/tasks/:podId in tasksApi.ts.
One thing about the pair
#2488 carries a rebased copy of this PR's commit — same message, different sha (b1accacec there vs a1c3be5ea here) — so this head is not an ancestor of that one and the same llms.txt duplicate is in both. git merge-tree on the two heads reports 0 conflicts, so either merge order works and the second PR's diff simply shrinks; but fixing the duplicate here does not fix it there without a rebase.
CI: CLEAN, nothing failed.

35-35: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winTest the deduplicated

allLinksis intentionally collected before deduplication. If line 17 regresses tolinks = allLinks, this assertion still passes wheneverallLinksis already unique. Add a controlled duplicate input and assert that the finallinkslist contains one URL.As per coding guidelines, “New code path ≠ test: flag it.” The path instructions also require comments on missing tests for changed behaviour.

Re-stamp at head 769c22c17040799e40ba32854241b28061d65ca7, tree f72441aa2f09e04753cca09b70eb384741914fea. Hold lifted.
git diff a1c3be5ea 769c22c17040799e40ba32854241b28061d65ca7 is two files — llms.txt and llmsTxt.test.ts — so "nothing else changed" holds.
The duplicate is gone and the new assertion discriminates
One agents/connect line at line 17, carrying the merged description. Suite is 6/6.
The mutation you asked for, plus two I added because the same commit refactored the link extraction:
mutation on llms.txt |
result |
|---|---|
re-add the second Connect your agent line |
✕ lists each URL once |
append a bare off-host URL (https://example.com/not-ours) |
✕ every link is absolute https on our own hosts |
append a bare on-host URL to a page that 404s (/self-hosting) |
✕ links none of the paths that do not exist |
The last two matter more than they look. The commit replaced the single deduped links array with markdownLinks + bareLinks, where bareLinks filters on text.slice(index - 2, index) !== '](' to avoid counting a markdown link's own URL twice. At this head the file contains 10 markdown links and 0 bare URLs, so that branch is currently inert — a filter that over-matched would have dropped bare-URL coverage entirely and nothing in the file would have shown it. Both controls fire, so the coverage earned on #2301 survives the refactor rather than quietly becoming vacuous.
Everything else from review 5625769684 stands at this head and I am not re-deriving it: exactly the audit's four verdicts, docs.json dropping exactly those four entries, no live link anywhere pointing at a removed page, all 11 <Check> lines preserved under ## Production preflight in kubernetes.mdx, the overview and authentication sections folded into the named survivors, and the eight runtime endpoints in the new capabilities table all existing on main.
Noted on #2488: not re-gating it until it is rebased on this. Its own content was already verified at a82be44bd (review 5625774565), so once the rebase lands the open question is just whether the rebase is clean — merge-tree on the two heads reported 0 conflicts before this commit, and this commit only touched files #2488 also carries a copy of, so expect the llms.txt and test changes to be what the rebase resolves.
CI: 20 pass, 3 skipping, nothing pending or failed; mergeStateStatus CLEAN.
